It seems that we judge government leaders on the volume of their accomplishments and, so, those leaders judge their own success in the same way. But, perhaps, seeing what we have seen in the past few decades, we should rethink this. Perhaps a government that does little is the best we can hope for. Perhaps we should praise the government that, as much as possible, leaves us all alone. – E.O.
