The three-part sermon: I will tell you what I’m going to tell you; I tell you; then I tell you what I told you. I appreciate the value of repetition and focus, but I prefer this three-part formula: I will tell you; then I will tell you the same thing in a different way; then I will tell you the same thing in a third way. – E.O.
