“Is saying, ‘I know what I know,’ something other than saying, ‘I know what I’ve experienced’? While our experiences are crucial to how we navigate through life, we ought to have enough sense to recognize that our experiences are limited to one perspective over one lifetime. They are little more than anecdotal, hardly representative of all experience. When we admit this we see that we can’t even say, ‘I know what I believe’.
